Get a tax credit, a rebate from Laclede Gas and lower your utility bill..

I didn’t realize it, but Laclede has a customer rebate program to get up a $250 rebate on heater or hot water replacement, if it’s deemed efficient.  Additionally, for 2006 and 2007 only (currently) you can get a 10% tax credit on efficiency improvements in your home.  Mind you will have to pay more for the more efficient units, but the savings will reduce the time of the return on your investment. 

Here is a state Energy Efficiency Index for the US which will tell you promotions that local utility companies are offering. 

You can get a tax credit up to $500 for improvements, such as window upgrades ($200 max), doors, hot air / water, and simply adding insulation (materials only.)

Graphics are simple, the game is a little challenging, but not too hard.  It took me about 10 minutes and I only lost two missiles to reach the end. Try it yourself

 

Easy Multiplication… lol

When I was, well, much younger, I remember not liking mom so much because she made me memorize multiplication tables.  Well, you still have to memorize the tables to use this trick, but it’s helpful for larger numbers.  Kids who like to draw might like this method to keep them interested.  See what you think..

Ok, admit it, the pyro in you has always wanted to play with WD-40 and fire right?   I remember going to boy scout camp on year and some kid threw on his half-empty can of bug spray.  Luckily I had enough sense to run like heck.   Here’s a scary video of a kid hiding a wd-40 can with a hammer on a long stick, but it wasn’t quite long enough.
