Golden Nuggets found in Unlikely Places

Posted by presson on September 27, 2007

This is a story about a guy, who like most of us, sometimes questions his
existence, measuring himself to others, not believing enough in his
abilities or his worth. Then one day, his passion outgrew his fears as he
stepped onto a stage, a stage that took him to a place beyond his self
imposed prison. Watch the faces of the judges as this guy walks out on
the stage. You can almost see what they’re thinking, based on his looks and
the fact that he’s a cell phone salesman.

Maybe this guy stopped believing in what people told him for so many
years and ultimately started listening to his passion.

Be careful mixing medications

Posted by presson on September 24, 2007

I know several folks who are taking multiple prescriptions and over the counter drugs.  You really need to be careful and make sure your Primary Care Physician is aware of all medicines you take.  One way to help is to use a Pharmacy that detects drug interactions, but that does not take into account over-the-counter interactions.  http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/18/health/18brod.html?ei=5090&en=c59532de54be267b&ex=1347768000&adxnnl=1&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss&adxnnlx=1190399828-dXM+L/f5oWHrdAsqJ5PJNQ

Your environemnt has everything to do with how old you will live. I ran across an interesting site that calculates your body’s age based on many factors. This site calculates my ages is 7 years younger than I am. That explains a lot! lol

I’m fairly new to drinking wine, although I have enough experience to know what it is about some wines I like or dislike.  Here are a few good videos about tasting that might help you develop.

Canon 40D

Posted by presson on September 12, 2007

I took the plunge and bought the new Canon 40D camera with 10 MP with Live Preview, 6.5 FPS shooting etc.  I’m quite pleased with the results so far!  It has 14-bit color.  The photos seem to jump out at you with little to no processing.  It’s nice to have a semi-pro grade camera.  Check it out
